And we are back in Costa Rica, the land of pura vida. Early in the morning, National Geographic Quest arrived to Golfito. After the customs procedures, our guests were invited to go on Zodiac and kayak rides around the mangroves of the nearby area. There were chances to observe monkeys, birds and even a small crocodile. In the afternoon, we visited Río Seco, where the group was subdivided for walks around the property. Of course, scarlet macaws were the highlight, and all our guests enjoyed the beautiful displays of these birds in flight.
