Wave Hunting: Orcas Prey on Seal

For nearly 2 hours, under sunny, calm conditions, the guests and crew aboard the National Geographic Explorer watched in awe as a pod of 4 Type-B orcas, a.k.a. killer whales, used a coordinated wave hunting technique to displace a crab eater seal from an ice floe. {SPOILER ALERT} But the seal survived 35 separate attempts and made his getaway!
