Early this morning we entered Princess Louisa Inlet on the slack tide and headed to the end of a beautiful fjord, where we anchored for the morning.

After exploring ashore and getting a good sighting of a black bear from one of the Zodiacs, we enjoyed a barbecue lunch on the bridge deck. It was a beautiful warm day. Leaving the inlet on the next tide we traversed the narrow rapids at the end of the fjord, but had to use one of the Zodiacs to guide the ship through Malibu Rapids as it was extremely narrow.

Once out of the narrows we continued our journey in the channel called Queen Reach, as we made our way north toward Johnstone Strait.
