Paola Espitia

Paola Espitia, M.S. is inspiring meaningful change for a better, bluer planet. Originally from the Andes mountains of Colombia, Paola’s world changed when she moved to the United States with her family and discovered reruns of The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau.

Today, Paola holds Advanced and Rescue SCUBA Diver certifications and is a member of the American Academy of Underwater Sciences. She says, “a day on the water brings back two on your life” and there’s no mistaking that for her, life is better in, on, under, and near water.

Paola shares her love of water with her Puerto Rican husband, Pay and her toddler son, PeakoMar. Just over a year ago, Paola and her family relocated from busy South Florida to the scenic Barrier Islands of Florida’s Space Coast. Between sunrise ocean swims with the sea turtles and sunset paddles through the mangroves, she has plenty to explore with her family in her blue backyard.
