Kristine Bono
Kristine started her career in hospitality in her hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada. A lifetime of world travel brought a passion for wine and understanding its connection to culture. In 2005, she began her career in managing all estate wineries in the Pacific Northwest region, building unique educational experiences to introduce and engage consumers and media in all aspects of the wine industry and production. With a mission and focus to always produce approachable information in an engaging and memorable format, Kristine became a regular on-stage presenter for many regional conferences sharing her experience in building dynamic programs to elevate beverage programs throughout the country.
To further improve her ability to connect global consumers with domestic wines, she completed her Sommelier Certification through the Global Wine Program at Central Washington University in 2013 and is a regular wine judge throughout the region. Currently, Kristine teaches Hospitality & Tasting Room Management and Fundamentals of Wine Business at Texas Tech University and works with wineries all over the country in coaching their front-line teams to deliver world class experiences. Kristine lives in Texas Hill Country, with her dog Hendricks where she enjoys discovering new gems in this growing wine community and copious amounts of travel and yoga.
