On March 16, Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic wrapped up our final Antarctica trip of the season, and for that, we have to give our staff a huge round of applause. They did an incredible job of making every expedition spectacular under incredibly challenging and always-changing circumstances. The season held one final challenge as all three of our ships docked early in Ushuaia to avoid an incoming storm and spent the day exploring Tierra del Fuego. (Naturalist Sue Forbes captured the above photo from the deck of the National Geographic Resolution at sunrise on the final day of that final Antarctica expedition.) We're excited to embark on our next journeys, but we will definitely miss the penguins.  Get Inspired By Photos, Videos, Webinars, Stories, And Exclusive Offers. Sign Up

(Still, don't bid penguins at large a final farewell just yet; Patagonia has plenty of them as well. And, of course, penguins can be seen in the Galápagos Islands year-round.)
