We spent the last day of our expedition on Santiago Island. During the morning, we enjoyed water activities like Zodiac exploration and kayaking. We discovered the wonders of this particular area named Buccaneer Cove. Fantastic geologic formations and birds were the main attractions. It was an exciting morning.

National Geographic Islander II then moved to Puerto Egas, where more activities awaited us. Our guests took a dip in the refreshing waters from the aft of the ship. We definitely had a blast diving and swimming. Later, it was time for our last exploration on land. We hiked along the coast, finding many species, like Galapagos sea lions, Galapagos fur seals, marine iguanas, land iguanas, and more.

We came back to the ship during a spectacular sunset on the horizon.
