What a wonderful day we had exploring Santiago Island. Early in the morning, we were amazed by the beauty of Espumilla Beach. On a lovely stroll along the beach, we saw the graceful diving of blue-footed boobies together with pelicans. We were witnesses to the breeding process of Pacific green sea turtles; they lay their eggs on Espumilla Beach every year.
Later in the morning, we snorkeled with sea lions, sharks, and an outstanding number of colorful fish. Other guests had the chance to explore the gorgeous geological formations and wildlife of the coast.
In the afternoon, we explored Puerto Egas. Walking along the shore and observing the magnificent fauna and flora during sunset was a beautiful experience. This was a great way to finish a stunning expedition around the Enchanted Islands.
