We enjoyed an early visit to Espumilla Beach. This fantastic beach is the nesting ground of Pacific green sea turtles, and we got to see their tracks. A juvenile Galapagos hawk perched in the mangroves, observing us with much curiosity. Kayakers and paddleboarders went out for a last adventure along the coast. We repositioned the ship towards Buccaneer’s Cove, where snorkeling took place and it was exhilarating! We swam through huge schools of silvery, colorful fish. The water was crystal clear. In the afternoon, we visited Puerto Egas, and guests enjoyed their last stretching opportunity. The final opportunity for snorkeling was offered off the beach, and it was fantastic. We observed fish, playful Galapagos sea lions and sea turtles. Then we enjoyed a hike along the coastal area, where we observed Galapagos marine iguanas, Galapagos fur seals and Galapagos sea lions. We also spotted striated-, yellow crowned- and great blue herons.
