Today we explored Santa Cruz, the most visited island of the Galapagos. We learned about the people and the ways of living in such a precious place in the world. We visited the Giant tortoise rearing center and learned about the conservation efforts to keep the archipelago as pristine as possible. By the afternoon, we were having lunch with a view of dozens of tortoises where we later had the chance to walk among them.

The day was not over. After dinner, we were entertained by a group of delightful musicians. We listened and danced to the music.
