Today was a splendid morning of hikes and whale skeletons at Puerto Magdalena. Some guests trekked out to overlook the Pacific Ocean and some headed towards the fully articulated gray whale skeleton down shore. It was an early morning of soft sun and spiky cacti galore!
Our midday journey through Hull Canal was filled with shorebirds and herons and egrets, oh my! We sailed north to Lopez Mateo for an afternoon of wildlife searching which turned into a gorgeous bird-filled sunset cruise with our local panga drivers.
The day was topped off with an unforgettable musical performance by the local guitar players Los Coyotes and dancing performed by The Desert Flowers. What an amazing, full third day of adventure aboard National Geographic Sea Lion!
