Even the cities and towns of Southeast Alaska are teaming with wilderness. In Petersburg, we find massive flocks of gulls, an incredible diversity of plants, and orca hunting along the margins. This idyllic fishing village offers shops, scenery, and most importantly, the warm hospitality of its friendly residents.
Today was a celebration of the cultural and wilderness of Southeast Alaska, and how those exist alongside.
