On our first full day in Iceland, we literally dove into the ice. We visited Langjokull Glacier, the second largest in Iceland, where a tunnel has been bored into the glacier for an underneath view of a world quite foreign to all of us. Afterwards, the stunning waterfalls of Hraunfoss and Barnafoss enchanted us along with a colorful scattering of spring wildflowers.
