Today, we explored the Kashevarof Islands, named by the Russians after a little-known marine officer. The archipelago’s islands were later named Bushy, Scrubby, Middle, and East. We spent the morning exploring the water with kayaking and Zodiac tours, and we enjoyed a humpback whale sighting! During the afternoon, we explored the islands by foot on a series of short, medium, and long hikes.
