Our day exploring the Inian Islands commenced with an exhilarating morning Zodiac cruise amidst the tidal currents. As the tide surged, a mesmerizing spectacle unfolded before our eyes. As fish were dragged to the surface, a feeding frenzy was triggered, drawing in bald eagles, sea lions, and humpback whales. Our skilled Zodiac drivers expertly navigated through the churning waters, providing our guests with unforgettable views of this natural spectacle.
After a delightful lunch on board, our adventurers set out to explore Port Althorp. Hikers and kayakers ventured into the wilderness in search of marine life and forest creatures. A highlight of the afternoon was the discovery of a large smack of jellyfish gracefully gliding through the bay, illuminated by the emerging sun peeking out from behind the grey peaks.
As the day drew to a close, everyone reflected on the wonders witnessed and the adventures that await us in the days ahead in this captivating corner of the Alaskan wilderness.
