Today, guests embarked on a thrilling adventure through Glacier Bay National Park, proving to be a memorable experience despite rainy weather. Our morning began with a close encounter with a magnificent glacier, which was an awe-inspiring sight to behold. As guests approached the glacier, they could hear the cracking ice and the rumbling of the glacier as it moved.

As the ship continued its journey through the park, guests were greeted by the sight of a large brown bear foraging in the underbrush. The bear paid no attention to the ship as it went about its business, allowing guests to observe from the bow. The expedition team was on hand to provide valuable insights into the behavior and habitat of these majestic creatures. Shortly after, the staff discovered a group of mountain goats perched high on a rocky outcropping, seemingly unbothered by the rain. The goats, with their thick coats of white fur, blended perfectly with the snowy backdrop of the mountains.

Despite the inclement weather, guests were able to explore the wonders of Glacier Bay National Park, and members of our expedition staff were on hand to provide valuable insights and observations. The breathtaking beauty of the park with its glaciers, bears, and mountain goats made the morning amazing. After supper, guests departed the ship to visit Bartlett Cove, a beautiful and serene bay located in Glacier Bay National Park. The cove is beautiful with a picturesque shoreline dotted with verdant trees and foliage. Snow-capped mountains towered in the distance.

The expedition staff took guests on a guided hike through the lush rainforest surrounding Bartlett Cove, pointing out various plant and animal species along the way. Guests saw towering Sitka spruce and western hemlock trees, as well as a variety of colorful wildflowers. Thus ended an amazing day in Glacier Bay National Park.
