Today, we are in the Northern Hemisphere inside of a crater for our last full day.
Early in the morning, we began with kayaking. We returned onboard for breakfast and then headed back to land for our one-mile walk in search of red-footed boobies, frigatebirds, seagulls, and sea lions. We also enjoyed snorkeling from the beach and in deep water.
Hungry from our adventures, we came back onboard for an impressive Ecuadorian lunch. Later, our Global Explorers learned how to drive a Zodiac.
In the afternoon, some of us enjoyed a walk searching for red-footed boobies and the elusive short-eared owl, while others opted for a Zodiac ride along the coast.
We completed our active day with a farewell dinner. We had an impressive once-in-a-lifetime vacation in the Galapagos Archipelago.
Adios amigos.
