Española Island

Today is our last day in the Galápagos Islands and that is a pretty sad thought. However, the amazing things that we had been able to see during this week would put a smile on our faces for a long time.

Even today, being the last day, we have seen animals that are endemic to this specific island of Española. The colorful marine iguanas and the waved Albatross were literally everywhere, and it would not be surprising to discover spectacular pictures of this majestic animals when we get back home. Nonetheless, more valuable than pictures, it would be the memories that would be preserved in our minds forever. Galápagos is a place reserved for privileged people, people that are able to understand the invaluable resources that our planet has. It would be hard to forget the peacefulness of the sea lions on the beaches or the fearlessness of most of the birds, but who wants to forget them? I certainly don’t want to, and I don’t know anybody who would, particularly such a sweet face looking straight into your eyes…
