Our day on Floreana Island was an unforgettable adventure. The morning started with coffee and the sound of waves before we set foot on Punta Cormorant. With sturdy shoes, we explored the island’s landscapes.
After our hike, some of us snorkeled at Champion Islet, swimming alongside sea lions and colorful fish while others chose a peaceful bay snorkel. A third group enjoyed a glass-bottom boat tour to admire marine life from above.
In the afternoon, we tapped into our creativity and made postcards. We also learned about the fascinating marine iguanas. Later, kayakers paddled along the shore, and we all visited the legendary Post Office Barrel where travelers leave letters for strangers to hand-deliver across the world.
It was another great day of exploration and discovery!
