We spent the night navigating aboard National Geographic Islander II and anchored at Gardner Bay, famous for its pristine white sand beaches and turquoise waters. A colony of Galápagos sea lions welcomed us. Some were basking along the shoreline, while others curiously approached the guests. Additionally, Española mockingbirds were scavenging for food, providing excellent photo opportunities.

In the afternoon, we moved to Punta Suárez, a renowned site known for its dramatic cliffs and various seabird colonies. Among them, we observed the waved albatross, endemic to the Galápagos, as well as marine iguanas and more. Exploring this incredible site was the perfect way to immerse ourselves in nature and marvel at its unique creatures.
