We begin our first morning cruising through Endicott Arm, part of the Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness. Designated as a wilderness area, there is no human influence around us; we are completely present and embrace the wildness of Southeast Alaska. The fjord ends, and we view the face of Dawes Glacier from Zodiacs. The afternoon continues with whale watching of both humpback and transient killer whales from the bow! What a wonderful beginning to an unforgettable week aboard National Geographic Sea Bird.
