We awoke to calm wind conditions on Eleuthera today. We had perfect weather for exploring the vast wildlife this island has to offer. Most guests headed off the ship after breakfast to visit Leon Levy Botanical Gardens, a hotspot for birds and native plants. Tour guides led us through the trails and taught us about the medicinal properties yielded by local plants. After lunch ashore, we headed over to the Island School, an outdoor education facility with restoration projects for corals and mangroves. We finished off the day with a beach bonfire and a Bahamian themed dinner.
