We awoke on our last day aboard National Geographic Sea Bird in Desolation Sound, making way toward Tenedos Bay. There, we spent the first half of our day exploring trails that lead to Lake Unwin; kayaking in the picturesque bay surrounded by harbor seals; and on expedition landing craft tours, taking in the beauty of the land around us. As the afternoon came and went, we watched the breathtaking landscape of British Columbia go by. With our trip nearing its close, it was hard not to feel as though this journey will live on in our minds and hearts.
