In the heart of the Amazon Forest, we set out for an exploration at Casual Community. Some locals welcomed us at the entrance and later displayed their creative handcrafts for sale. Along this narrow trail under the immense and vast flora, we encountered numerous species of insects, reptiles, and plants unique to the great Amazon jungle.
Later, on board the skiffs at Nauta Creek, we met more of the Amazon wildlife. Monkeys are always a big hit with visitors, and we were lucky enough to spot some. Birds are found everywhere here, and we were able to observe them long enough to take pictures.
By the end of the afternoon, the beautiful colors in the sky announced the end of a wonderful day of exploration in Peru’s Amazon.
