After traveling upstream from Nauta on the Marañon River, we began our first full day onboard the Delfin II by exploring a beautiful little black water creek. Next, we took a hike through the terra firme rainforest. We ended our day exploring two side tributary rivers, the Yanayacu and Pucate Rivers. Throughout the day, we were amazed by the diversity and abundance of life here in the upper Amazon of Peru.
