Lori Liquori
Lori Liquori is enthusiastic, compassionate, and warm hearted. Her hobbies include interior decorating, gardening, organic cooking, biking, and spending time with family and friends. She encourages individuals with their personal wellness approaches while inspiring them to spend time in nature.
Having grown up in the salon industry, it was Lori’s inherent desire to pursue a career in cosmetology. At the age of 18 she began her vocation as a licensed cosmetologist, servicing clients in all aspects of hairstyling, nail care, and skincare. In the 17 years to follow she began moving toward the health and wellness aspects of the business, ultimately graduating in 1997 from Health Choices Holistic School of Massage located in Bell Mead, New Jersey. Her certifications include Swedish, hot stone, deep tissue, reflexology, geriatric, prenatal, and cancer massage. She continues to educate herself in the study of yoga, sea kayaking, and most recently, eccentric stretching. When asked, “What inspires you”? Her response is, “The greatest complements I’ve been given are being told I’m a great Mom and that my hands are my gift. This inspires me because I too believe my massage work to be a gift. It is as much a gift to give as to receive.”
In June of 2007 Lori’s gift enabled her join Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic, for what proved to be one of the highlights of her career. She worked a full schedule aboard the National Geographic Sea Lion and the National Geographic Sea Bird for three years. Family commitments brought Lori back to New Jersey where she works at an award-winning spa, but she’s made time to return National Geographic Sea Bird whenever possible.
