Lindy Hopkins
Lindy travels regularly to the world’s wild destinations as a naturalist with Lindblad Expeditions. Her lifelong interest in natural history led her to pursue studies in biology at Stanford University and further study in botany and zoology at the University of Washington. She has participated in several research projects on birds of prey with the Falcon Research Group and has also worked on the ornithology collections at the Slater Museum of Natural History in Washington. Her recent travels with Lindblad Expeditions have taken her to Africa, the Seychelles and Madagascar, Central and South America, Alaska and the Pacific Northwest, Baja California, the Arctic and Europe. When not traveling with Lindblad Expeditions, Lindy enjoys writing about nature and her travels with her photographer husband, Ralph Lee Hopkins. Her work has appeared in a variety of publications.
