Jessie Johnson
Jessie Johnson grew up in the high desert of the American West. An early love for environmental science and the outdoors morphed into a life focused on sharing her experiences through photography, film, and guiding. With a focus on marine mammals, Jessie has worked on camera crews for Netflix, National Geographic, and Disney+. Logging thousands of hours filming everything from sea otters in the Northern Pacific to killer whales in Antarctica and much more in-between, if you have a curiosity about marine mammals, she is all ears.
Jessie is passionate about utilizing the powerful combination of outdoor adventure and storytelling as tools for education, self-discovery, conservation, recovery, and joy. When not out on expeditions, she lives in Crested Butte, Colorado, and enjoys spending her free time skiing, hiking, cooking, diving, and asking people if she can pet their dogs.
