Gemma Economopoulou

Gemma is a native Greek, born in Athens. She completed three years of study in the Licensed Lecturer Guides School of Athens, and for the last 19 years has been working as a licensed guide in English and Spanish, conducting various types of land tours and cruises all over Greece.

Her country is known for its archaeological, historic and intellectual importance, for its beautiful landscapes, its numerous picturesque and cosmopolitan islands added to by the warmth and hospitality of the Greek people. Gemma fully enjoys her work, and above all she always tries to revive and transmit the grace and spirit of Greece’s past combined with the flavors of today to Greece’s foreign guests. Lately, she has found herself dividing time between work and continued studies; she currently attends the Greek Open University. When Gemma has free time she enjoys traveling, reading, and joining cultural and social events – always in the presence of good friends.
