Ann Marie Lane
Ann Marie has been blessed to feel connected with nature and has always been aware of the harmony between us and the wilderness. Living in Newfoundland gave her the opportunity to volunteer with a diversity of research projects such as studying gannet and puffin colonies, having close encounters with the majesty of capelin runs and humpback whale migration, and helping maintain healthy, educational, sustainable, and accessible hiking trails.
As a Physical Therapist, yoga teacher and trained in massage, Ann Marie loves to share the wisdom of maintaining the “Big Five” through life and time: balance, movement, strength, agility, and coordination. Ann Marie believes it is a true privilege to be able to help people move and feel better. She has travelled extensively, and worked in many different countries and cultures and continues to have a passion for travel and the opportunity to experience cultural exchanges. She is an avid swimmer, skier, kayaker, scuba diver, trekker, dog lover, and fused glass artist. Ann Marie is so grateful to be part of the National Geographic Lindblad team, sharing in the pure and astonishing delights of discovery!
